The Benny Golson Story
Presented by Seasoned Saxophonist Ed Salazar
In Loving Memory • A Musical Legacy
A Master of Eloquence & Sound
Our dear brother, Benny Golson, a master Saxophonist revered as much for the durable standards he contributed to the jazz repertoire as for his eloquent tenor sound, fell asleep in death in early October 2024 at his home in Manhattan at the age of 95.
Throughout his extraordinary career, he composed enduring classics and inspired generations with his deep musicality and faithful devotion. This October 2026, the Together with Stan community gathers for a tailored retrospective exploring his remarkable journey, artistry, and cherished spiritual brotherhood.
